Investing In Health & Pilgrim Well-Being

Today we are faced with extra health challenges, combating the negative health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, plaguing the well-being of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and their opportunity. Well prepared physical training and activity with a balanced diet has been proven to improve the pilgrims experience and the organizers performance in serving their members better.

We believe good health supports positive social and economic outcomes – both for the individual for society as a whole. We want the Hajj and Umrah industry to view good health of their pilgrims as an investment, enriching the pilgrims experience as well as reducing strain on primary health care services both at home and abroad.

We aim to change the conversation to focus on health as an asset rather than ill health as a burden and promote policies that encourage health improvement opportunities for pilgrims, most of whom are elderly.
